What is SEO (Search Engine Optimization) ?

SEO is the actions you can take on your website (called on-site) or on internet (calle off-site) to help you website rank better on Search Engine result's Page (SERP as we call them).

SEO tasks are usually divided in three mains categories :

1. Technical: Everything geeky about your website from a technical point of view like page speed, HTTPS...
2. Content: Basicaly, the question is : which word is the best to use ?
3. Backlinks: How the rest of internet speak about your website ?

For instance, this present tool will mostly help with Technical SEO and will give you some infos about the content viewed by search engines.

Why technical SEO is the most important ? Because if you tech is bad, at best your giving an hard time to the search engine, at least, there programs cant event browse your website :)

So technically SEO is free, but it takes time :)
